Dr. William Latimer

William W. Latimer, Ph.D., M.P.H., is a seasoned higher education leader and admissions expert with decades of experience guiding students and institutions toward success. Over the course of his career, he has served as President of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia and The College of New Rochelle, as Vice President at Mercy University’s Bronx Campus, and as Founding Dean of the School of Health Sciences, Human Services, and Nursing at Lehman College, CUNY. In these roles, Dr. Latimer oversaw admissions offices, evaluated applications and essays, and made critical enrollment decisions that shaped the student body of each institution. His leadership has spanned the entire spectrum of higher education—from major R01 research universities to community colleges—giving him rare insight into how different schools assess applicants and what makes a student stand out.


Dr. Latimer has not only led admissions and enrollment growth, but also championed first-generation college students and students of color, significantly increasing both enrollment and graduation rates. With a career rooted in both academic research and hands-on admissions decision-making, he understands every step of the process, from preparing in middle and high school through acceptance and thriving in college.

Dr. Catherine Alicia Georges

Dr. Catherine Alicia Georges is a distinguished nurse, professor, academic administrator, and nonprofit leader with decades of experience shaping education and student success. A graduate of Seton Hall University (B.S.N.), New York University (M.A. in Community Health Nursing Administration), and the University of Vermont (Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies), she has combined her clinical background with a lifelong commitment to teaching, mentoring, and academic leadership.


Since 1975, Dr. Georges has been a cornerstone of Lehman College, CUNY, where she rose from lecturer to professor and chairperson of nursing, guiding generations of students and helping shape academic programs that reflect both rigor and opportunity. She has also served as president of the National Black Nurses Association and the National Black Nurses Foundation, and in 2018 was appointed National Volunteer President of AARP, reflecting her deep commitment to equity, access, and community leadership. Beyond higher education, she founded CAG Home Health Services in the U.S. Virgin Islands and has served on numerous boards and advisory councils, including those of AARP, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.


With leadership experience ranging from community-based education to national organizations, Dr. Georges brings unmatched perspective on preparing students for success at every stage—from early education through college and into professional life. She has spent her career advocating for students, guiding them to overcome barriers, and ensuring they have the tools to achieve their full potential in higher education and beyond. Her wealth of knowledge and commitment to student empowerment make her an invaluable mentor for families navigating the college admissions journey.

Brian Sondey

Brian Sondey is a seasoned higher education leader with more than 15 years of experience in admissions, enrollment, and student success across both public and private institutions. He serves as Associate Vice President for Enrollment & Student Success at Dutchess Community College (SUNY), where he oversees strategic recruitment, enrollment, and retention initiatives. Prior to this role, Brian was Executive Director of Enrollment Services at Rockland Community College and has also worked directly as an admissions advisor, gaining firsthand expertise in financial aid, advising, and student support.


Brian’s background includes a master’s degree in business leadership from Concordia College and a bachelor’s in marketing and public relations from New England College. Recognized statewide for his impact, he was named the 2023 College Admissions Professional of the Year by WPRCA. A sought-after speaker, he has presented nationally on best practices for recruiting and supporting adult learners, with engagements at SUNY AACRAO, the League for Innovation, and NYSACAC.


With deep expertise spanning admissions, financial aid, records and registration, student retention, and overall enrollment strategy, Brian brings a holistic perspective to guiding students and families. He is especially passionate about supporting first-generation, low-income, adult, and nontraditional learners—helping students who may not have seen college as a possibility discover their pathway to success. Vincent Tunstall

Vincent (Vince) Tunstall is an accomplished higher education executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across finance, enrollment, and strategic planning. He currently serves as Chief of Staff and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the institution’s mission by streamlining operations, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering collaboration across senior leadership and key departments including Admissions, Financial Aid, the Bursar’s Office, and Finance.


Prior to joining MCNY, Vince was Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for Finance at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, where he successfully guided financial operations while strengthening cross-campus partnerships in enrollment and student services. 


Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Student Financial Services and later as Assistant Vice President for Finance at the College of New Rochelle, where he became known as a dedicated advocate for education funding and access.


With a career defined by strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to student success, Vince has led initiatives that improve institutional efficiency while expanding opportunities for students. At Summit, he leverages his extensive background in higher education leadership to provide families and students with the highest level of expertise, ensuring every decision is aligned with long-term success.

Vincent Tunstall

Dr. Kathrin Ritter

Dr. Kathrin Ritter is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in education, assessment, and student development. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, her M.A. in Clinical Health Psychology from Appalachian State University, her B.A. in Psychology from Northeastern University, and later added an MBA from Western Governors University—bringing together expertise in both education and leadership.


Over the course of her career, Dr. Ritter has worked in private practice, university settings, and government research, where she has conducted comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Her background includes deep expertise in assessing learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and other developmental conditions, as well as supporting students in overcoming barriers to academic achievement. She has also taught undergraduate psychology courses and mentored graduate students, giving her a broad perspective on student learning and success.


In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ritter has contributed to federally funded research and published widely on issues including student resilience, mental health, and substance use. At Summit, she draws on her combined background in psychology, education, and leadership to help students and families create personalized strategies that highlight strengths, build confidence, and maximize opportunities throughout the college admissions process.
